Last month I found out I would be fortunate enough to visit East Africa as a part of the Rotary Club's Group Study Exchange (GSE) program. This opportunity comes at an interesting time in my life as I have been developing a more intense desire to serve others and embark in activities that have impact. This fits well with the Rotary Club's mission of "Service above Self". Africa, as most know, has many 'serving opportunities'. This trip will surely broaden my perspectives and may even lead me in directions not yet known. I want to thank the Indianapolis Rotary District 6560 as well as the Indianapolis East Rotary Club for sponsoring me on this trip to Kenya and Ethiopia. I look forward to sharing in the experience with my team (Judy, Jennifer, Lora, and Carl) and all of the other Rotarians that will be providing us with guidance along the way. We will be developing blogs/websites in order to share as much of our experience as possible. Please check back as it gets closer to April 08'. Since we haven't been to Africa yet, shared photo from my recent trip to Alaska!
